It’s good for 7 years but the manufacturer warranty is in the 1st position. If your warranty is 5 years then geico mbi adds two years to that for a total of 7. If your vehicle is on the original factory battery, then that is most likely the cause of all of your electrical issues.

If you want Alfa, a Giulietta 1.4 TB (non-MultiAir) is much better choice for LPG. And it is a great engine. But if you need a saloon, then it is not an option for you. 159 1.8 MPI is the weakest model, but it is not that slow either. 0-100 km/h in 10.2 seconds. 1.9 8v JTD takes 10.7 seconds, and a lot of people drive that.
Overall: We're torn on giving this Alfa Romeo 159 four stars, but we have to. It's easy to recommend, because it's well-priced, well-equipped, economical, quick and will probably prove reliable. However, where you want an Alfa to be the mildly off-kilter choice for the wannabe weekend eccentric, the 159 is too sensible for its own good.

Because it has the brand Alfa Romeo people tend to think it must be unreliable but it is not a fair opinion. I am now driving my second 159, and covered 4 years and almost 160.000 km in it (the first one had 230.000 km experience in the end). Sure I had some repairs (some sensors, radiator once, clutch. But the rest is normal wear and tear).
